COMOTION MIAMI ’24

The Next Wave: Integrating Innovation

When it comes to land, sea and air mobility, Miami-Dade is not only an exciting hotbed of innovation, but a lesson for other urban geographies across the U.S. in how new mobility technologies can and must be conjugated with sustainability, equity and safety. Miami-Dade Mayor Daniella Levine Cava is a champion of safe streets, radically rethinking bus rapid transit and setting new standards for resiliency. Brightline, the nation’s leading privately-operated rail system, provides an efficient and fast backbone linking Miami with Orlando and points in-between. Miami’s position as a key global port and the cruise shipping capital of the world make it a leader in thinking about sustainable maritime mobility.  And if any city in the US emerges as a hub of advanced Air Mobility, it will surely be Miami.

On May 6-7, 2024 we convened for the fifth edition of CoMotion MIAMI. Miami is hands down of the most innovative and dynamic cities in the world, resolutely geared to the future — and CoMotion MIAMI is at the heart of the action. Miami is the nation’s largest financial center after New York, voted the No 1 city in the US for startup activity and for woman entrepreneurs, and is home to over 1,100 multinational companies.
