LA CoMotion and LACI Announce LA New Mobility Challenge Semi-Finalists

18 Startups Selected Across 6 Categories of Urban Mobility to Pitch at Mobility Innovation Day November 14, 2018


Los Angeles, CA – November 1 2018 – LA CoMotion, along with the Los Angeles Cleantech Incubator (LACI) and the NewCities Foundation announced 18 semi-finalists in the LA New Mobility Challenge, a global startup pitch competition focused on urban mobility. More than 100 startups and young companies from over 15 countries applied to this year’s LA New Mobility Challenge.

Semi-finalists will pitch their innovations on stage to a crowd of top Venture Capitalists and key public and private stakeholders during Mobility Innovation Day, taking place on November 14 2018, from 9 am to 5 pm, at the La Kretz Innovation Campus, 525 S Hewitt Street in the Downtown LA Arts District.

A high-level jury will select a winner for each category (Aerial Mobility, Autonomous Vehicles, Electric, Personal Mobility, Shared Mobility, and Smart Infrastructure), as well as one for the overall competition, to be announced on November 15 at LA CoMotion 2018, the leading global annual event on the Future of Urban Mobility happening in the heart of the Downtown LA Arts District on November 15-17 2018.
