In its third edition, the Miami Mobility Challenge – ‘M2’ – is an opportunity for innovative start-ups from around Florida, the nation and around the world to engage in Florida’s fast-expanding and dynamic new mobility landscape.

The Miami Mobility Challenge is aimed at improving mobility on existing transportation infrastructure using emerging technologies.

M2 brings together start-ups, investors, VCs, and key leaders from both the public and private sectors to do business together. We shine a spotlight on truly innovative early-stage companies that are making a real impact in the sustainable mobility space.

The final pitch competition takes place during CoMotion MIAMI ‘22, on April 20-21. The winning team will get unparalleled exposure and recognition.

Congratulations to Mobi and KinectAir, the joint winners of the 2022 Miami Mobility Challenge, hosted by CoMotion MIAMI ‘22 and supported by Enterprise Florida.

This year, we had an unprecedented tie after some truly exceptional pitches.

  • Mobi, a Bolivian clean energy startup, is developing a multimodal vehicle system that connects public transport with micromobility options at affordable prices. 
  • KinectAir is focused on revolutionizing regional air mobility by allowing people to book a seat on private planes and making it as easy as booking a taxi.

CRITERIA

We would like you to have a new and differentiated technology. Be independent, not a subsidiary. Have a total revenue less than $5 million. Be less than 6 years old in April 2022 and have a product in beta.

The four focus areas of the challenge are:

  • Connected services and infrastructures
  • Air mobility
  • Inclusive mobilities
  • Net-zero city

All applicants that meet the criteria will get invited to CoMotion MIAMI ‘22 to see the final competition live.
